as we all know the start of the season for arsenal only saw gloom and hopes laid bare in tatters like a broken dream. arsenal where no longer title contenders, a laughing stock if you wish to say? no hopers a sad joke in the bile of the premiership. their start was so uninspiring i can bet many fans debated whether to cut their loses; of course i’m saying all this for dramatic effect. but with the recent form being 4th in the table, it seems the big boys are back. well we’re coming anyway. Van persie being on form. and our defence has improved dramatically ignoring the occasional blunder. but i am not going to sit here and start proclaiming like a prophesy that arsenal will win the championship and the premier league. ha as if i would this is football we will never know who will win till they win. with chelsea seeming to be playing below par. man u being knocked out of the carling cup and champions league, losing 3-2 to blackburn.
as the transfer window is open, its doors are firmly wedged, news and rumors shall fly through the door. fans shouting at their teams at the managers; for now fans have suddenly become qualified football managers. so what is in store for arsenal? unfortanatly its all the same; just mere rumors some say wenger is actually going to spend while other reports claim he is not going to be very active. Eden Hazard is again being linked with us. but that is more unlikely to be honest though it would be a great signing for us. Gotze is another player linked but the boys in blue are also after him (no not the police i dont think Mario Gotze is some kind criminal mastermind) chelsea are also reported to be interested. as chelsea are also possibly lining up a bid for Kaka. you remember kaka right? from the august window where it was rumored wenger tried to get him on a loan deal. problem is van persie is the only proven striker we have. Chamakh? i am sorry to say does not look like he will find his form confidence whatever you want to call it. arshavin is nowhere near the player he used to be, so we are in need. and Henry returning is only a plaster as it is a two month short term load. and to be honest dont really think Henry would be a viable transfer on a more permanent basis. i am a huge fan of Henry and i cannot wait to see him in action again. so hoping this doesnt sway wenger from trying to buy another striker or two. or maybe actually give Park a chance. and Miyaichi i mean he looks promising. with frimpong going on a possible loan to aston villa. Miyaichi maybe returning to feynood. (if thats how you spell it) 🙂
we need a good left back, more players that is what we need.
so i will be back on soon as this will be a busy month for me 🙂
