news news some news

well it appears arsenal may have signed a pre-contract with Argentinian striker Matias Suarez for the summer transfer window, which would stop any other club hi-jacking him in the summer, which is pretty good news, though not been confirmed but does look genuine or maybe just another rumor.

ha thats it a small little nugget for you…

their are some whispers the wenger may try a £4.1 million bid for barcelona star Eric Abidal in the Janurary transfer. from the sun Ignasi Miquel may seek a loan to the Championship if he cannot get a more regular role in the arsenal line up. yesterday rumors where abound that alex oxlaide chamberlain wanted to go out on loan to get more playing time so he could edge his way into the england squad. but luckily he used his twitter account to dislodge those rumors stating he was very happy at arsenal. so the rumors where gladly false. nothing new really, or concrete. chelsea may pull out of the deal with Gary Cahill. if he does stop playing about. so maybe gary cahill may not be a chelsea player after all. who knows… who cares to be honest we all know i’m short sighted when it comes to other clubs. got to write about what your passionate about. i’m guessing today will be another quiet day in the transfer market i just cant wait till the middle and towards the end thats when it starts getting interesting. well thats me for now. got to work.

thanks for reading.

well my dear people of the gunner persuation did you see it???? well did you… come on you must have it was stuff of legends??? forget dragons and do ghosts really exist you can’t of missed it? yes i am talking about thierry henry scoring in his first game back in a arsenal shirt…. exciting times; which also lead to uncertain times; as will this mean that wenger will not dive in now to get a striker from the january transfer window? this will not please the fans professor…. yes henry is a great loan signing… but we need something permanent something tangible. or maybe wenger is waiting till the summer window and try go for eden hazard? who knows amigo’s…. Mon-Ami we have to wait and see.

but it worrying though is it not? granted its only the start but we’ve been linked to a few players that would barely get any fan excited have their blood flowing with such passion hoping its true. but early days my friends early days. why am i calling you my friends? you dont write comment or tell me how amazing i am? ha but your arsenal fans so that will suffice for now 🙂 my overly joyous writing style is due to my total boredom. well this is it for now. shall be back…..

oh my god what a game; with arsenal leading with possession, but either chamakh or arshavin able to find the net, looked frustrating, everyone looking at the sub bench thinking one thing come on wenger bring on the king. and kabam he comes on, and within ten minutes a pass from Alex Song and henry scores. the celebration could bring tears to any arsenal fans eyes; the celebration was as passionate as the goal. you could say a lot of fans weren’t expecting a lot from his first performance no one knew. i mean yes we knew he would be an inspiration to the team, but that goal just reminded me of the old days, when henry was a full on arsenal player. and i dont think im alone in saying he was missed. and now he’s back yes on a short term basis, though their is a unconfirmed rumor saying wenger may try to extend the loan to the season, and after last nights perfomance. but at the moment i’m just happy to see him on the pitch back home where he belongs..

welcome back henry

good morning welcome to transfarnia yes transfers with a hint of narnia 🙂 Lille player Moussa Sow is again being linked with arsenal with tottenham also in the running to sign him,not the first time we’ve been linked with him, though these days the Yann m’villa stories have all but vanished. also in the wire is arsenal are possbily targeting Sunderland winger Kieran Richardson for a possible loan deal. also another player linked at moment is the  Oman international Saad al-Mukhaini. but i know nothing of him so whether that good or not i do not know. an unlikey rumor comes that blackburn may try to rival arsenal and malaga for real madrid’s Esteban Granero i dont see Granero leaving real madrid for Blackburn. not saying its likely he’ll go to arsenal but doubt very much, wouldnt mind seeing Granero  in a arsenal shirt. its so early in the window that pretty quiet on the gunner front. also heard that wenger may go for Swansea defender Neil Taylor, a 22-year-old who was earning £750-a-week at Wrexham just two years ago. that is a worrying thought. as we need big signings not small ones that wont help. so hoping that ones not true. mario Gotze seems to be hot property in this window at the moment. thats it for now until anything decent comes up. this is the worst part of the transfer window too quiet more rumors and gossip than actual news.

well catch yer all later

the arsenal we love it blog bit

as we all know the start of the season for arsenal only saw gloom and hopes laid bare in tatters like a broken dream. arsenal where no longer title contenders, a laughing stock if you wish to say? no hopers a sad joke in the bile of the premiership. their start was so uninspiring i can bet many fans debated whether to cut their loses; of course i’m saying all this for dramatic effect. but with the recent form being 4th in the table, it seems the big boys are back. well we’re coming anyway. Van persie being on form. and our defence has improved dramatically ignoring the occasional blunder. but i am not going to sit here and start proclaiming like a prophesy that arsenal will win the championship and the premier league. ha as if i would this is football we will never know who will win till they win. with chelsea seeming to be playing below par. man u being knocked out of the carling cup and champions league, losing 3-2 to blackburn.

as the transfer window is open, its doors are firmly wedged, news and rumors shall fly through the door. fans shouting at their teams at the managers; for now fans have suddenly become qualified football managers. so what is in store for arsenal? unfortanatly its all the same; just mere rumors some say wenger is actually going to spend while other reports claim he is not going to be very active. Eden Hazard is again being linked with us. but that is more unlikely to be honest though it would be a great signing for us. Gotze is another player linked but the boys in blue are also after him (no not the police i dont think Mario Gotze is some kind criminal mastermind) chelsea are also reported to be interested. as chelsea are also possibly lining up a bid for Kaka. you remember kaka right? from the august window where it was rumored wenger tried to get him on a loan deal. problem is van persie is the only proven striker we have. Chamakh? i am sorry to say does not look like he will find his form confidence whatever you want to call it. arshavin is nowhere near the player he used to be, so we are in need. and Henry returning is only a plaster as it is a two month short term load. and to be honest dont really think Henry would be a viable transfer on a more permanent basis. i am a huge fan of Henry and i cannot wait to see him in action again. so hoping this doesnt sway wenger from trying to buy another striker or two. or maybe actually give Park a chance. and Miyaichi i mean he looks promising. with frimpong going on a possible loan to aston villa. Miyaichi maybe returning to feynood. (if thats how you spell it) 🙂

we need a good left back,  more players that is what we need.

so i will be back on soon as this will be a busy month for me 🙂

the return

Posted: December 30, 2011 in arsenal

well well well…. a return of Henry, a lot of gunners will be happy at the sound of that and yes i am one of them…. not to say i’m expecting his legendary performances of his early arsenal years. we have to remember his age and his time at new york bulls with no disrespect american football is completely different to european football. not to say im doubting he’ll make an impact cos he will. and hell am i looking forward to seeing him in a arsenal shirt again.  though their is a small rumor probably not even a rumor more a whisper. that the new york bulls might rather let him play out the rest of his career at arsenal but as i said that is mere speculation and ive only heard from one sourse. so im gonna ignore it. but this is good. i think????? it is isnt it? i’m just hoping this doesnt stop wenger from signing anyone in janurary. tho henry will be a boost, but its only two months, and though gervinho is doing well but so far not a proven goal scoring forward. and chamakh sorry to say not expecting much from him at the moment. and Park hasnt been given enough chances so still unproven, so just cause henry may return doesnt mean wenger can relax and not bother. cos we need a world class striker. we got lucky in august with arteta whose done well in midfield, oxlaide chamberlain has been excellent, mertesacker is finding his feet and so is santos. bennayoun is also a good player. so lets not forget we need a permanent striker not a quick fix. though this is a quick fix i like the idea of. buts lets not get our eye of the ball and forget that we need a permanent fix.

suffice to say busy days lay ahead news rumors ridiculous speculations and all the rest. are soon to start. with chelsea looking to sign Kaka. would be nice to see kaka in a arsenal shirt but again pretty unlikely. well i shall leave you with some pictures of arsenal training with Henry, which i found on the official arsenal website. thanks for reading…..ImageImageImageImage

Return of a legend

Posted: December 29, 2011 in arsenal

Thierry henry could be returning to arsenal for a short term loan. Would be nice to see him in a arsenal shirt again. As usual rumors are abound with possible transfers. Havent really heard of any new ones so not gonna go on with a list i have already compiled. Well we are days away from the winter transfer window a prospect that i am excited about but i think it will be a busy one. Unlike augusts window where most of the talk was about man u i think it will be a lot about arsenal as their are a lot of eyes on wenger to see if he signs any major players i.e. hazard kaka, gotze, Beckham ha ha Beckham major player thats sooooo funny 🙂

Ah what a game; though got to ponder if the referee phil dowd was in fact brought by man city shirt number 666. Nasri man of the match what the hell???????
It was a exciting game but we just failed to edge our way in. Would have liked to have seen chamberlain play instead of walcott, would be nice to see benayoun and artera play together 🙂 miquel? Dont understand his inclusion. But all in all its just the way football is. Could have been far worse could have been 2-0 3-0 so i take that into account. Arshavin played like he didnt really care so i think maybe a winter exit. I get he must be stressing over less playing time. But look at chamakh, in same position he must know the criticism he’s getting. But he still states he wants to stay at arsenal. And he does still try. The time is almost upon us the high octane thrill ride that is the transfer market opening forget about wall street this is what matters 🙂
