With a loss comes a great performance

Posted: November 29, 2011 in arsenal

Well normally this would be a aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah damn it we bloody lost part.
But I find myself proud and happy with such a young team playing against a lot of expensive players; in truth we played better lots of chances; but at the last moment city scored and we lost.
Park played well with a great chance; coquelin and oxlaide chamberlain where on fire was so sure chamberlain was going to score. Chamakh however failed with one good chance. Would have preferred Arshavin to have started. But hey no point in moaning or questioning squad ideas blah blah blah. Though a disappointing result but not a bad one with our performance.
We played well with passion just never managed to finish but that has to do with the city goalkeeper more than our lack of chances. Defensively we played well. So a 1-0 loss. But to be honest I actually thought if we lost it’d be a more bigger loss like 2-0 or so on, but we held our own; dont think you can criticise our performance; as expected Nasri was booed and even got some rude chants šŸ™‚ this team was young. Wengers choice to rest key players though some will probably question that. But you can’t keep playing van Persie; and I dont think this is proof that we are one man team. It’s just part of the game. After such a bad start we have improved and come far. So no need to be disheartened by the result. It could have been worse we could have lost 3-0 and played crap. But we didn’t we held city the whole 80 minutes that in itself is a good point and something to celebrate. I’m sure wenger will be proud of his team and I’m sure the fans feel the same. We showed our improvement that we’re not a struggling team that will never amount to anything. We’ve come out stronger…….. Not going to start predicting we will win the premiership and championship. But when you support a team you support them through the highs and lows. You commit your passion to the team. So we lost a shame a disappointment Yes
I am proud to be an arsenal supporter.
Arsenal till the end.

Some players arsenal should look at
1/Eden Hazard [Lillie] would cost a staggering Ā£43 million likely probably not or more likely a no
2/Mario goetze [Borussia dortmand] dortmand are adamant wont sell but would be a good signing.
3/Estaban Granero [real madrid] would cost Ā£6 million and he seems to be out of favor with the special one
4/Xherdan Shaqiri [FC Basel]
5/lukas podolski [Cologne]
6/moussa sow [Lillie]
7/Iker Muniain [Athletic Bilbao]
8/roberto soldado [Valencia]
9/marvin martin [Sochaux]
10/Gabriel Torje [udinese] has been dubbed the romanian messi
11/yann M’Villa [rennes]
12/Karim Benzema [real madrid]
13/Yoann Gourcuff [Lyon]

Arsenal v borussis a win win win please

Posted: November 23, 2011 in arsenal

Arsenal v Borussia
Well arsenal will be without Thomas Rosicky, Carl Jenkinson and Bacary Sagna for the visit of the Bundesliga champions, although Abou Diaby and Laurent Koscielny are back in play though
Ryo Miyaichi, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs are still unavailable.
Tonight is a big game with man city and man u pretty close to an exit. Though i am not predicting it;
Im hoping for a win.
Expected line up:
Szczesny; koscielny; mertesacker; vermaelen; santos; ramsey; arteta; gervinho; van persie; walcott
Poss subs: chamakh; diaby; park; bennayoun; not sure who else šŸ™‚
Im hoping for some van persie magic and a strong defense.

The chamakh option

Posted: November 17, 2011 in arsenal

These days chamakh seems to have more critics than fans, but to be honest it is unfair; if you look at the start of his arsenal career he was brilliant. Then van persie returns in form. Chamakh went from the first choice striker to the second; now dont get me wrong im not placing the blame of chamakhs current form on van persie or wenger. But from what i see chamakh has lost his confidence somewhere. And needs to find it. Chamakh who has rebuffed the chance of going back to old team to stay at arsenal; shows loyalty and commitment isnt that important? A lot of players would moan and leave knowing that they would have to fight hard for a first team chance not naming any names…. Be….. šŸ™‚
His commitment to arsenal even with the critics and the chances of playing second fiddle to such a great player. (Van Persie) he still wants to fight for his chances. I was a fan when he first came as a choice for wenger to sign. He had so much potential and he still has it… He hasnt lost it just a confidence issue. I believe and have faith that we will see chamakh’s potential; so i hope chamakh stays. He is still a good player and i stand behind him and wish him all the luck that he needs.

the thing of it is……..

well hello their its me again, you know the guy who talks about arsenal yes the passionate fan who doesnt know how to shut up yep that me šŸ™‚

well on the game front its quiet until the 19th november where we play Norwich.

schalke are offering Jefferson farfan in a swap for Andrei Arshavin and with his current attitude this may actually happen, when i mean attitude i dont mean he’s been throwing his dummy out of his pram or doing a kelly rowland diva moment, just dont think he’s too happy with lack of first team play. so would this be a good swap if this did happen??????? (http://youtu.be/eQm-RHvKs-g) <—— a link to see his skills arent i nice. he looks good whether he’ll be able to adapt to english football is something we cant tell.

what do i know about him mmmmmmn (hang on a minute)

well he was born in Lima, Ā Peru; he started his career at Alianza LimaĀ in peru, in 2004 heĀ was signed to PSV Eindhoven, and in 2008 for a $10 million transfer fee to Shalke. well thats it not going devote a whole blog on one player, so thats all i got on mr Farfan. it also appears that Ā Arsene wenger could be Ā looking at bringing in the Chilean striker Eduardo Vargas, who is currently at the Univesitad De ChileĀ who could costĀ Ā£5m, but Villarreal are also tracking the 21 year-old. on the outward bound train it appears wenger could be open to the departure of Sebastien Squillaci and chamakh who at the moment havent been very consistent. other than that no real new news going round at the moment; hazard looks like a no go. kaka has gone missing (missing as in no more rumors of wenger chasing him) van persie still stalling on contract talks. so nothing more i can say really, i guess for now this is it, the final word of the day šŸ™‚

well gunner fans till the next time… keep it real… keep it arsenal

Well their have been some interesting rumors doing the rounds at the moment of course I must stress that they are unfounded and not definite so please if none of them come to pass please donā€™t hunt me down ļŠ Firstly arsenal could make a move for Borussia Monchengladbachā€™s (Thatā€™s a mouthful) midfielder Marcos Reus whether thatā€™s just a rumor as I heard their has been no contact but it is a rumor so Iā€™m writing it who we could also face battle from man city who are also interested. Another likely transfer move would be Mario Gotze and the long time transfer target (well long time we did try to sign him during august window) is Yann Mā€™Villa. Also according to New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream arsenal have shown interest but at the moment the only report of that is from him, so obviously pinchā€¦ ofā€¦ salt comes to mind. Also Rennes player 22 year old Tongo Hamed Doumbia, Also it seems Borussia Dortmund midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz would welcome a move to arsenal, im not to sure what heā€™s like so whether thatā€™s something to get excited about or who cares innit approach. Arsenal could also face a battle with Tottenham for the signature of Le Havre teenager Jeremy Balmy, though. So a possible busy January transfer window

a hazard coming our way

Posted: November 8, 2011 in arsenal

well arsenal once again being linked to Eden Hazard with spurs on their tail though dont think spurs will beat arsenal, but chelsea might…. arsenal may also be interested in Jan Vertonghen. thought im hoping january’s transfers arent like augusts, not to say im unhappy, Arteta was a good signing as well as oxlaide-chamberlain along with the others, (maybe not mertesacker) at the moment anyways. could family ties urge Hazard to join arsenal, with Vermaelan being his cousin. arsenals 3-0 win over west brom was classic arsenal, with arteta scoring his 2nd goal in a arsenal shirt, and his first at the emirates. another intersting rumor making the rounds is that wenger may offload chamakh and try to sign drogba, now hes a good player but im not sure though. but again just a rumor. not long till the whole window opens. something which im looking forward to, the thrill of the chase, the cheers….. the dissapointments i would love to see Eden Hazard in a arsenal shirt, he is a player we could do with, Jack Wilshere may be back to training in december, and he has said that he wants and plans to stay at arsenal for his whole career. uncertain times my friends… with van persie being urged to stay with the gunners and i hope he does. he has got to be the most in form player in the premier league at the moment…. so come on wenger we need some good signings..
