Then in the 69th minute Lucas Viatri scored because of yes you guessed it by a mistake made by Djourou who had allowed Mouche in to score an equalizer;
Then shock horror Sebastien Squillaci carelessly gave away possession in his own half and Viatri went on to score again;
Though this match has no real significance really; still doesn’t look like a side that have learned but it’s still early yes you guesses it I am a optimist π but this does underline we need new defenders; do I need to send wenger a message via SMS or email mmmmn maybe one of my rants that will force his hand π
Well on my way home to sulk have a shower to hide my tears;

Good morning folks it’s Saturday morning, at work laughing at the film due date; but have been working tirelessly to get some news and here are some:
With the news that spurs are trying to hijack arsenals attempt to sign Juan mata with a Β£22 million bid whether that’s true or not but in reality I don’t think spurs will win the bid as mata will want to play in the champion league which is something spurs probably won’t be able to offer;
And the poor ongoing situation with cesc fabregas must be hard on the player; he desperately wants to leave but is still loyal to arsenal with everything he has achieved. With wenger apparently stating that fabregas may not play for the gunners again unless cesc can sort his head out.
Thierry Henry has said he has been a fan of gervhino and reckons he will go far with arsenal well thanks mr Henry always good to hear your thoughts as with most even all gunners you are a legend;
Also it appears that bendtners move could have fallen through as his wages would be too high; only thing I can say is if he really wants to leave he may have to take a wage cut; come on bendtner even with the pay cut you still won’t have to shop at Iceland π
Arsenal are set to rival liverpools bid for Wigan athletics ace james McCarthy Though it’s just a rumor at the moment; my opinion is that wenger should spend time trying to sign Alex oxlaide chamberlain but that’s just my opinion. Abou diabi Is going to be out for 10 weeks which for arsenal could cause problems and with the ever increasing troubles with fabragas hopefully Arshavins stance that he is going to do well this season is true to his word; but I still have faith in Arshavin. The news that wenger is looking at the Eden brothers is also a comforting thought but whether it’s just a thought or something that could materialize is yet to be seen.
With the injury to conor Henderson; and also Walcott (Ωthough walcott injury doesn’t sound to bad from what I hear)
Other news according to chamakh he is now capable of playing the game; to improve his game to me this is good news as I followed his signing closely and always thought he would be a good signing;

Well it’s all gone quiet now as the rumours lay asleep; have to wait till tomorrow to see what will happen; wish i had money and wasn’t working over the weekend would love to see Henry at the emirates; to be honest I’d love to start going to some arsenal games well i well with a new job looming; i sit here listening to the frightened rabbit waiting to home to rest my weary head;
Was hoping more news on Mata would come but hey it’s a waiting game.
Still sad we will see Fabragas in a barcelona shirt; strangely no more news on the whole nasri situation; in my opinion Wenger is braving it out; risking losing nasri anyway but on a free transfer; he obviously isn’t serious about arsenal if he just wants to leave; can’t really work with a player like that; but hey I’m not the boss I’m just some guy sitting in a office In London pretending to be a professional security guard π

Well bendtner looks like he’s going on a Β£9 million transfer so far it looks like Juan Mata will be donning a arsenal shirt wenger has upped his bid for Phil jagielka to Β£15 million though everton want Β£20 million, as always still no news on Alex oxlaide chamberlain so guessing that’s not on the cards; is Phil jagielka enough I reckon we could do with another defender things are looking good; a double swoop for wenger Total of Β£32 million;
Could this be our season too early to tell so for now just be happy arsenal are marginally busy in the transfer market. Got to admit I am excited;
Though I will be sad to see fabragas leave think I’ll choose to ignore the whole gossip that he’s sulking don’t really want to think of fabragas in a wantaway teenager in a strop i’ll leave that to samr “I want more money” Nasri; but it’s just the cycle of life as the great mufasa said in the lion king.

Not really in the necessary formation π but this is prob what I’d like to see

I grew up supporting two teams before I fell in love with arsenal first Manchester united then liverpool. Then at the age of 10 I saw arsenal play and that’s when my love affair with arsenal started; though many will not call me a football fanatic as I only ever been to one arsenal game back when it was tony Adams Paul merson lee Dixon;
Though it’s been a long time since we won a trophy; but though we don’t seem to finish; arsenal play a beautiful game much like Barcelona.
But you have to remain loyal; yes I have had my moments where I feel like just leaving and support Chelsea; but arsenal is a team I’ve supported for almost twenty years;
I grew up with them.
Though like many I lay frustrated at the lack of silverware but in reality football should be more than about winning trophies and not abandoning a team just cause they haven’t won anything; you have to keep the faith.
After the miserable season we had; I’m sure this season will be better whether we win anything or not!
Arsenal are always still in the game and us gunners must rely on faith; we will do it…….
We have to believe arsenal are the best without the arrogance of the Manchester uniteds π

Well it looks done… With wenger looking to spend some wonga a record for him which surprised me
With teams like Chelsea forking out round 50 mill for Torres and so on; and arsenal does have the money; but much like the pound shop always looking for a good bargain; according to reports Wenger will pay 18 million, which beats the record breaking signing of andrei Arshavin for 12 million (obviously not a record breaking in the premier league just for arsenal) though this could now lead Arshavin to leave; I’m hoping he stays. Although surprising enough but never confirmed Reyes allegedly cost arsenal around 17 million.
And also it looks like we’re set to lose fabragas though sad but mata will soften the blow; he has what we need; But with man city nosing in who knows???
With reports linking us to Christopher Samba, maybe Gary Cahill; and Phil jagielka to which Wenger has offered 15 million for the players signature.
A worrying fact that denilson says he will come back to the gunners next season to which caused me to have nightmares; don’t really need him;
So I leave you in much anticipation for news of some new signings. Till then I shall ponder through the existential questions and scour the earth for new dreams to dream;

I sit here listening to band on the run by Paul McCartney all day Been keeping an eye on the possibility of arsenal signing Juan Mata he would make a great replacement for fabragas it looks good so far though as you all know things can change as quickly as it started; what would make me even more happier is If Wenger signs some good defenders as well,
Would like to see Scott Parker In a arsenal shirt though that is probably unlikely; I am still waiting to see what happens with Alex oxlaide chamberlain; though we may possibly be signing Christopher Samba. But in my opinion this is a good start gervinho looks good already Carl jenikson is still young so I do still reckon he’ll turn into a good signing; and if Juan mata signs for arsenal I think maybe we have a chance to learn from our mistakes; and at last Wenger has been listening yes he hasnt made major big money signings like man city but we just need good players; and mata is def one of them; well off home to shower and hopefully by tomorrow Mata will be an arsenal player and i’ll have his name on the new arsenal away shirt π
