De gea the tesco thief and other tales

Posted: September 30, 2011 in arsenal

Villa boas considers wenger a role model; I was a little skeptical about villa boas purely on his age; but from what I’ve seen of him Which isn’t much if I’m honest he seems like a good manager; nerves are raging as the game against tottenham Is coming; but I’m hoping for a good result. If gervinho isn’t fit for the game try chamakh with Van Persie and park. I promise I’m not obsessed with ju young park just would like to see him more. If guy buy player (and especially if you grab him before another team can should actually play him????
A funny stories hitting the rounds (though the source is the sun so pinch of salt)
It seems man united goalkeeper could be dodgy….. dodgy I hear you thinking how???? Well mr De Gea was caught in Tesco’s in the magazine aisle he ate a doughnut which cost £1.17 and walked out without paying but was stopped by security who had seen him on CCTV. How I would have loved to have been their. Hello mr de gea think you’ve eaten something you haven’t paid for? To which he would probably reply
“Yo no hablo Inglés sabes quién soy una portería de fútbol gea jugador que no sabes nada de lo que hablo de la I rico Por favor, déjame en paz que es el señor Fawlty”

[I do not speak english do you know who I am a football goal gea player you know nothing of what I speak off I rich man Please leave me alone where is mr Fawlty?]
🙂
Ac Milan are showing a interest In van Persie now they’re offering £20 million while man city are offering £30 million makes no sense. Though I do believe van Persie will stay.
It looks like their will be a epic battle between chamberlain and Walcott for a regular place on the first team. Well maybe not epic dont expect to see them at the emirates fighting with light sabers then Walcott would say Alex I am your father ok a tad over the top sorry my imagination is on over drive.
Nuff said till later chao.

Arsenal gunner be good?????

Posted: September 30, 2011 in arsenal

With the tottenham game coming up, we have to hope we bring our A game; chamakh seems to be getting into it more now so I think he may be starting to find his game and confidence which I am happy to see; arshavin for me is playing brilliantly. Happy to see him coming back into form. Alex oxlaide chamberlain is proving to be a great signing. It was touch and go whether we’d sign him or not but thankfully we did and wenger got it right. Yes it was a gamble he’s a good player and it paid off. No need to comment on arteta we all know how he’s settled in. Benayoun is coming into the game; I believe he will start making a bigger impact but again a good signing. Andre santos wasn’t too sure about him to be honest but In the games he’s played so far he’s doing well.
So can us arsenal fans finally have something to be excited about? Well it’s far too early to start predicting that we will rip the premiership and win. But I think maybe we have finally getting our confidence back. All we need to do now is start testing ju young park and ryo both players have potential. And park needs more games to gel with the team.
I’m in the line of thinking that a game with walcott and oxlaide chamberlain playing together would be a good sight?
We had a terrible start to this season it never ended Just kept coming, this was just a empty shell of a team; we lost something along the way. But I think we’re finally nearly on our way out of the slump. It’s going to be a tough season for us. It ain’t going to be easy. We’ve got a ways to go before we can start predicting trophies and to eradicate the 8-2 loss from our memories. Specially as we all know most or some man u fans will never let that go. But to me it’s firmly in the past and shall not dwell on it.

Mr Wengers shopping list

Posted: September 29, 2011 in arsenal

So I sit here 02:30 in the morning traces of tiredness as I’ve been up all night unable to sleep; well that’s another story.
A question emerges so was arsene wengers transfer list correct? Or was it one of those old time stories of a husband going shopping only to find his wife angrily pointing the finger as she yells at him telling him he got the shopping list totally wrong?????????
Well let’s see shall we.
Let’s take a look at the signings

Gervinho
Doing very well scored two goals in his first game, settled in and looks like a brilliant striker in the making….. So yes good choice
Carl jenikson ok hasnt had the best of starts well got to say though probably the best ever own goal. But a young player who shows promise so that’s a maybe maybe
(ignoring Joel Campbell cos on loan)
Alex oxlaide chamberlain well didn’t start properly with a small appearance in the game I dare not mention. But scored his first goal then another goal last night. This guy is a definite yes lots of promise.
Mikel artera this guy has gelled straight in played good scored a goal. And fits in so yes another yes.
Ju young park or park ju young or chu young park (their are so many variations of his name) 🙂
Unfortunately only played one game so far so not enough so neither a yay or a nay but I reckon he will be a yay soon. Unless he’s a nay? No I will not be a blogger who says nay (ignore my Monty python holy grail reference)
Andre Santos: playing well with a very good goal last night so a one to watch.
Mr loanee yossi doing good fitting in scored and looks Like a good choice
Per mertesaker to be honest he’s getting their slowly playing good but yet to find that presence we need but not a bad signing.
So their you have it a badly done analysis of our new signings come on what you expect I havent slept;
I think wenger did well considering
So as the supermarkets like to say or advertise
The star buy is: Alex oxlaide chamberlain ok going to cheat and add mikel arteta as well 🙂
More to come ooooh the stories that will emerge over the next transfer window. My prediction
Talks about Eden hazard and Kaka
Van Persie leaving or staying
Will be another busy one so until then I will enjoy the calmness and maybe risk sunbathing in the sun with a glass of dr pepper.

Arsenal wars: the newbies strike back

Posted: September 28, 2011 in arsenal

Ok if the team is correct I don’t understand why chamakh is playing instead of van Persie that’s a huge risk would have liked to have seen ju young park. Alex oxlaide chamberlain playing is good, of course mikel arteta, So
Newbies are playing
Alex oxlaide chamberlain
Mikel arteta
Andre Santos
Per mertesaker
I don’t know the chamakh instead of van Persie confuses me a little.
Arsenal vs olympiacos
8th minute oxlaide chamberlain score good start from arsenal.
20th minute new boy Andre Santos makes his first goal for arsenal with a great goal.
Well it finished 2-1 a good game from arsenal still a tad fragile In defense may not be a convincing win but it was a win and we played well two good goals. But we still need to improve.
But am happy with the result just got the game over the weekend against spurs.

Arsene wenger suspected shoplifter

Posted: September 28, 2011 in arsenal

Well it appears real Madrid are also after lille’s Eden hazard. But after mr Wenger stole ju young park from under their clutches we’d have to offer a large amount of money just to be given a chance of signing him.
So we have to ask how or why wenger stole park? I’m guessing maybe wenger put ju young park in a bag filled with tin foil so the alarm wouldn’t sound when he left the hotel. And the security was probably too busy watching girls on CCTV an interesting scenario I can imagine it.
Wenger standing outside the hotel pacing carrying a bag, sweat falling from his face. As he gets the courage; he walks into the hotel. Paying close attention to the security guards. Goes in the elevator already knowing where park is staying. Knocks on the door park opens the door and surprised to see wenger. After a cup of tea wenger forces park to sign for arsenal. And drugs him putting him in the bag. Carefully walking round the hotel staying away from the CCTV.
He sees the exit and makes a run for it. The security hot on his tail.
But he gets away; the hotel manager has a go at the security team.
And their you go. That’s how arsenal got ju young park. Ok maybe not but it is a possibility 🙂
While man city are trying to sign van Persie specially now with Carlos I want to go home tevez refusing to play. And Juventus showing interest in walcott.
January looks like it could be a painful month for arsenal or maybe not. Wenger has also stated he has no interested in selling arshavin which means wenger still has faith in the russian. I do to though he hasnt replied to any of my offers to meet up for a few glasses of vodka 🙂

I kaka not believe it

Posted: September 27, 2011 in arsenal

Ok sorry for the bad pun 🙂
It seems the kaka rumors are still hanging around stating wenger may try to sign him in January though I would guess it would be highly unlikely we’d get him but he would be a brilliant signing. With the bad news that wilshire could be out for 5 months or longer is a blow for arsenal. Van Persie still stalling.
It’s going to be a tough season for us that’s a understatement.
I’m hoping wenger will give park ju young more chances (or ju young park) 🙂
Has their ever been a more worrying time to be an arsenal supporter? I don’t think so. I know we have won a trophy in 6 years or so but that was never important to me; I love arsenal for how they play their style. Which has been lacking since the start of this season. But I’m an arsenal fan heart and soul.
To be a fan you have to deal with the bad as well as the good.
Ps
No one ever comments on my posts why? 🙂 would love some feedback

20110927-105550.jpg

It seems that man city are at it again they are showing interest in robin van Persie who is his last year contract; van Persie leaving will be horrendous for arsenal especially now; not saying it’s likely it depends on van persie’s commitment to arsenal; not news I’m happy to hear. Especially as it’s man city the manager has gone mad according to him he still reckons he hasnt got enough players. We can’t afford to lose van Persie especially after his performance against bolton. He’s too good a player for us to lose.
Andrei arshavin is another player I don’t think we should lose yes his performance hasn’t been on par of recent years but he is a good player.
We need more players not less.
I just hope wenger can convince as Many players to stay. Especially as wenger has likened van Persie to Lionel messi. Also doing the rounds is that frank lampard could leave Chelsea would it be mad if I thought he could be a good addition to arsenal??? Or have I gone mad 🙂
Again we sit in troubling times as we know van Persie has hinted on leaving if we don’t improve and get new star signings. Though he is happy with yesterdays performance but is that enough to sustain him from here on it’s just conjecture so not really going to dwell on it till January as he remains a arsenal player till then.
Other players have been listed as they are in the last year of their contracts walcott being one of them but I don’t see Walcott leaving just yet.

20110925-055407.jpg

Well a story that’s doing the rounds at the moment is the possibility of Dennis bergkamp returning to arsenal obviously Not as a player but maybe like viera at city. I think this would be great for arsenal bergkamp is a legend at arsenal the fans would relish the idea much like the idea of thiery Henry coming back 🙂 just have to wait and see.
According to Owen coyle wenger may have blown the chance of signing Gary Cahill I’m hoping that’s not true but will have to wait till January for that.
Also a slightly worrying thought that we could lose van Persie as well maybe even Arshavin as well again this is not a statement just a possibility.
3pm arsenal vs Bolton the first half finished 0-0 then beginning of the second half thanks to van Persie who made it 1-0 to arsenal then 71st min another goal by van Persie
89th minute song makes it 3-0 this is what we want from arsenal scorelines like this. Well the match finished 3-0 I like this result 🙂 not going to start predicting we’re gonna win the premiership but think we’re starting to get our confidence back. And do hope wenger does his best to keep van persie.

Arsenal vs shrewsbury

Arsenal vs shrewsbury

Team line up
Fabianski
Jenkinson
Miquel
Djourou
Gibbs
Frimpong
Benayoun
Coquelin
Oxlaide chamberlain
Chu young park
Chamakh
Subs
Ryo miyaichi
Ozyakup
Ok so what problem do I have with this line up?
Not sure why ryo miyaichi isn’t starting but not a problem, why play coquelin? Wasn’t wenger going to play a young team with some experience? Surprised Arteta isnt playing. Though good to see park is starting. I know generally this wouldn’t be seen as a very important match. But with our form of late you would expect a bit more experience rather than experimentation on paper the team is hopeful but I think we could have done with Song or Walcott. And van Persie even as a sub to replace chamakh if he is unable to fit in this game; the team sheet does surprise me. But to say it’s a rubbish team i wouldn’t say that I mean park and oxlaide chamberlain two good players, benayoun is experienced. Gibbs isn’t too bad if he’s on form. But I’m guessing miyaichi will replace chamakh at some point in the game. It is a brave decision from wenger and suppose will have faith in his decision. Also surprised szczesny isn’t playing a player we should have play today.
Well end result 3-1 thank god for that.
First goal coming from Gibbs.
A shaky start for arsenal it was looking like wengers gamble wouldn’t pay off; with a few good tries by oxlaide chamberlain at the beginning. Chamakh had a few good attempts. Then the inevitable goal from shrewsbury that would bring fear of another draw or loss. Then Gibbs scored and equalizer The first half finished 1-1 was hoping park would get more into the game but it’s his first game.
The 2nd half starts with no changes in the team.
Arsenal was more in control in the 2nd half. Then came the 2nd goal from newbie Alex oxlaide chamberlain. Then another first goal for benayoun which made it 3-1. A good result but don’t think I shall be celebrating quite yet. I’m hoping this is the win that brings us out of the slump. A good finish from such a young team. Wengers gamble just paid off. Let’s hope our next game against Bolton is another win.

A battle of faith

Posted: September 17, 2011 in arsenal

What the hell is going on??? That is the big question I mean if we can’t even beat Blackburn how the hell are we actually do anything worthwhile this season? I mean 4-2 and 2 goals where own goals.
This is embarrassing. This has got to be the worst start we’ve ever had.
I’m trying to have faith but it’s hard when you see a team you love do this bad.
What are you expected to do? Become less passionate and just support them. Give up and choose another team that won’t loose 8-2 or 4-2 to a lower team. Don’t get me wrong I’m not bad mouthing Blackburn just saying.
It’s just hard and yes I know it’s only a game blah blah blah.
The game of goals??????
With the first goal by Gervinho then Arteta, then on 85th minute chamakh scores making it 4-3
So it ended 4-3
Better that 4-2 I suppose 🙂
I’m a arsenal fan all the way that will never change.
