OMG ARSENAL 5 CHELSEA 3

Posted: October 29, 2011 in arsenal

i tell you something what a game; i swear the people in the office where i work must have thought i was losing my mind from the cheering and shouting, the game was a rollarcoaster. just when you think arsenal where going to lose we come back stronger; andre santos had a bad start made quite a few mistakes but redeemed himself with a goal, unfortanatly mertesacker didnt play that well still teething….  but tell you what i am not going to analyse this game; whats the point we all know the good points and the bad points… today is a good day to be a gunner… so much pride and joy today. London is red thats all i can say. it was a game i loved watching it, never been more proud to be a gunner than today.. well thats not entirely true im always proud to be a gunner. but this just gives us more confidence and shuts up our critics. we beat chelsea at their ground. granted chelsea werent playing that well from the way i was watching it, yes good goals, specially from mata, but we where the better team even with our poor defence at the begining. as always Song played well, some good tries at the start from van persie and gervinho. plus a great goal from walcott.

proud to be a gunner

Thoughts on Arsenal vs Chelsea

Posted: October 29, 2011 in arsenal

Well today’s the big day, we play chelsea away, I imagine arsenal fans lay in wait nerves scattered through the hearts and minds; as today will be a true test of arsenal; we go to the match with confidence but will that be enough?
A win today would be a great confidence boost and surely prove we are coming back from a poor start to the season; if we lose then well it will just mean we aren’t quite their yet. Just to defend better midfield and forward we’re fine; van persie will no doubt start; with gervinho arteta song Walcott hoping arshavin vermaelen mertesacker santos; park will no doubt be a sub. Though I would like to see oxlaide chamberlain. Their is another interesting point to this game and that comes from Juan Mata who was highly linked to join arsenal over the transfer window but lost out to Chelsea. Though have to admit mata hasn’t really made a huge impact as I thought he would; but still a good player and worth worrying about. I sit getting ready for work with a worried anticipation; as I will be watching the match at work; I’m not going to predict a score line too hard as both teams are good; and though Chelsea are probable favorites their current form is still not quite their best; but u do like Chelsea so not going to start shelling out a we’re gonna thrash then losers 🙂 I’d more than settle for a draw obviously better than a lose. But if we do win will be like 1-0 or 2-1 well here’s to waiting for the game to start.

Welcome mr park

Posted: October 25, 2011 in arsenal

Well the game started slow with Bolton scoring in the first half. It looked like the usual story. Second half comes. And the little Russian mr arshavin scores then a few minutes later assists and park scores his first goal for arsenal.
Well we win 2-1 this is what we need…. Our confidence is coming back. Arshavin and park the goal scorers; I’ve always had faith in arshavin and park needs more playing time but glad he got a goal in tonight’s game. As always am a happy arsenal fan.

A walk in the park

Posted: October 25, 2011 in arsenal

Well tonight we play Bolton and I’ve heard on the grapevine that ju young park could be playing in tonight’s game,
Arsenal vs Bolton line up
Fabianski, Nicholas yennaris, vermaelen, squillaci, miquel, frimpong, coquelin, oxlaide chamberlain, benayoun, park, arshavin.
Subs
Mannone, Sanchez watt, ryo miyaichi, ozyakup, chuks aneke, Daniel boateng jernade Meade
Well this team is a strange team as most of them haven’t really heard of. Bit risky line up no arteta no mertesacker, though good to see vermaelen back and park finally starting with miyaichi in the subs. Not an arsenal team I recognize. So am nervous 🙂
But got benayoun, vermaelen for experience. Hoping for a good result tonight

oh yes 3-1 thanks to van persie who scored twice and the first goal from  gervinho,  my friends arsenal are back 🙂 this makes up for our shakey start to the game, you have to wonder what the score would be now if van persie started?????? [Man u 1 man city 3] ha ha 4 minutes added on and wait ah yes 5-1 to man city thats crazy 🙂 was hoping man city would win but i never saw a 5-1 scoreline sorry it ended 6-1 i swear i never saw that coming. man united where destroyed felt more like man city verses brentford ha ha

pleased with the result (talking about arsenal) sorry my exitement at man u’s destruction distracted me. a good game, Chamakh had a good try but only one good try, i hope he finds his game soon, cos i still rate him as a good player, but he needs to do something. how is does he expect to get playing time where its van persie hes in competition with, van persie is on fire at the moment. though park warming up then not coming on very strange. well a convincing win from arsenal which makes a change from saying an unconvincing win. but a long way to go though but this is definatly a good start to it.

though a 6-1 result for arsenal would have been epic. but 3-1 is still a very good result. arsenal till the end. this is how we need to play but from the start to the end. we where shakey at the start. so today is a good day to be an arsenal fan and a bad day for a man u fan

arsenal vs stoke part one

Posted: October 23, 2011 in arsenal

well hello again, well according to eurospoort the supposed line up consist obviously no sub list yet and van persie seems to be playing but i reckon that will change. and bang a change chamkh is playing instead of van persie

wojciech-szczesny johan-djourou  P. Mertesacker L. Koscielny André Santos mikel-arteta A. Song  theo-walcott gervinho, chamakh, Subs:  Fabianski, Frimpong, Rosicky, Benayoun, Arshavin, Park, Van Persie,

well at least park is on the bench 🙂

well the match is a bit slow and arsenal a tad shakey at the start.

and yes 27th minute a goal from gervinho (and at this point [13;59] man city 1 man u 0 yay 🙂

and in typical fashion arsenals defence breaks and crouch scores to level 1-1

45+1 a good try from chamakh but narrowly misses end of first half finishes 1-1

not really a convincing first half for arsenal a tad shakey with the set pieces,

second half starts with no changes, park should have replaced chamakh 🙂

oooh it appears van persie and park could be coming on epic 🙂

arsenal are improving.

[is it ju young park or chu young park or park chu young too many variations of his name] 🙂

67th minute van persie replaces chamakh well i saw that coming, could van persie change the game,

71 min arshavin replaces walcott no sign of park

arsenal 2 stoke 1 thanks to van persie

its all relative my dear chamakh

ignore the blog title couldnt think of a better one to be honest too early on a sunday to be thinking about a great pun and well im not a sun reporter am i 🙂

well well well it seems that the rumors of Chamakhs exit have been gravely exaggerated or even false words spread like wild fire much like the news that gets printed in a rubbished tabloid newspaper. yep i know controversial views but hey just my humble opinion. it appears that wenger has stated he is not going to offload chamakh during the january window and that he is happy with the player. its all to do with playing time, i mean Van Persie is on a high, how can you fight for first team play when your fighting against a player who is in good form. fighting i mean for playing time not an actual fight. dont think chamakh sees van persie as his evil nemesis. with also other good news that walcott is looking to talk to arsenal about contract so he could sign a new one so another player we wont lose. in the wake of the exodus. exodus? does kind of sound biblical doesnt it?

yeah exodus La Judas have i suddenly found a deep belief in religion am i going to become a priest? anyhow i do digress. todays game against stoke again as usual hope we win, i think we are starting to get our feet back; going back to our A game. no line up as of yet, but i believe from reports Van perise will be rested so it will be more likely Chamakh will play, but as i have been saying in countless of my blogs and probably sounding like a broken record 3 words ju young park?????????? but will have to wait and see, ramsey will more likely play as well as song, arteta, gervinho and arshavin, rosicky will either play at the start or subs. though song and arteta will more than likely start. as they have been two consistent players, so dont see wenger choosing to not play them, as in our position every game is vital if we’re going to at least get 4th place this season. jenkinson will miss 2 games due to injury. another one on the injury list but thank god not for long, Vermaelen should be back soon, and still waiting for wilshire.

well thats it for now. glad to hear chamakh is staying well back again just before the match.

The match a possible judas the sequel

Posted: October 19, 2011 in arsenal

Oh great looks like Walcott could become the next judas and leave for Juventus if true great another disloyal player; but we do have Alex oxlaide chamberlain who looks like could actually be a better player than walcott since Walcott recent history is a Bit of a hot and cold player. He will be missed he goes but don’t think it’d be as bad as when we lost fabregas as we do have a talented replacement in oxlaide chamberlain. As usual this is just speculation rather than a definite so not going to start naming Walcott la judas the second 🙂
I find I’m nervous ahead of tonights game; a good night or a disappointment?
Squad line up doesn’t look to bad but unsure if it’s correct or if changes have been made; santos appears to be playing but no oxlaide chamberlain or park or miyaichi probably on the bench;
Tho I do think chamberlain would have been a good choice but then again saving him for later could be a good tactic to replace Walcott later in the game; no arshavin or rosicky tho id rather have rosicky than Ramsey; not saying Ramsey is useless he’s a good player but rosicky tries harder (in my humble opinion) 🙂
Obviously our problems going to be at the back. With Santos mertesacker jenkinson koscielny not exactly a strong defense; mertesacker is still teething but i think he’s started to get into it. Santos appears good jenkinson well he again is getting into it but still inexperienced koscielny well he’s hit and miss.
Midfield isn’t too bad arteta song Ramsey, with gervinho van persie Walcott up front. Again if this info is correct probably completely different and you all will think I’m a liar 🙂 well good luck arsenal.

20111019-061746.jpg

It appears wenger may offload chamakh after losing patience, my opinion is that should give him a chance. So in January chamakh could be gone but I hope not. Also a rumor has it that wenger may try and sign Chelsea’s didier drogba.well an interesting rumor. Well today we play Sunderland should be a win for us (fingers crossed) think park should be given a chance in today’s game isn’t it about time we play him? Also oxlaide chamberlain should play as well we all seen how good he is.
Obviously it’s our defense we worry about let’s just hope mertasacker, Andre santos, Alex Song,Laurent_Koscielny and Carl jenkinson do well today.
Wasn’t a real convincing game but a win is good with two good goals by van persie who has stated and laughed at the speculation he may leave arsenal and said he was committed to the gunners good to hear. Can’t argue with larssons goal it was a good one and well deserved.
So not really going to moan about the game we started well but kinda lost it further ahead; with some good attempts via van persie and a great try by arshavin;
Rosicky played well. The win put us in the 10th still a long way to go. But the team is slowly getting their if the first half an hour where we played a good game kind of reminiscent of our old form. Though we should have won 3-1 but hey positive rather than negative. Got to respect larsson who did not celebrate the goal in respect for his old club. But I do think the rules need to change. Van persie getting booked for taking his shirt off bit like me getting sent home from work for taking off my jacket. 🙂
Go arsenal……..

arsenal vs sunderland

Posted: October 16, 2011 in arsenal

probably should have waited as the line ups come in

Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Song, Arteta, Rosicky, Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie. Subs: Fabianski, Andre Santos, Djourou, Frimpong, Arshavin, Benayoun, Park . so its rosicky instead of ramsey,

no chamakh in the sub list not sure if that actually means anything, just hope park comes on some point, just want to see him play properly….

first half  and wow a goal in the first minute  Tomas Rosicky slides a weighted ball into Gervinho’s path. The Ivorian moves forward before squaring a pass to Robin van Persie on the edge of the box,a nd the Arsenal captain fires a crisp low finish past Simon Mignolet!

Arsenal having most of the play dictating the pace in the midfield; great interplay between Gervinho and theo Walcott, who is stopped. Per Mertesacker comes forward for the free kick.

8TH minute Mikel Arteta’s delivery is missed by everyone in the box, and Sunderland clear the second ball as it comes in from Walcott.

12th mintute Van perie goes for goal but hits the post a great try from van the man persie 🙂

(ha ha got my tweet written up on eurosport yay Tamer Elewa says on Twitter: “I’m hoping park gets to actually play today”. Me too. Arsenal need to get the most out of him before he has to do his national service in Korea in two year’s time. 🙂 ha)  sunderland cant really find the game, so this should really be a good result from arsenal if we play a good game. i reckon the man of the match will be robin van persie hes on fire today.

and bloody hell in 31st minute sunderland equalise here we go again….

sunderland seems to be getting into the game,

first half finishes 1-1

well this pretty much sums up arsenals season so far great start then nothing well have to wait for second half

s51st minute santos replaces gibbs

arshavin replaces gervinho again why not ju young park?

well work beckons gona have to catch up later
