the return

Posted: December 30, 2011 in arsenal

well well well…. a return of Henry, a lot of gunners will be happy at the sound of that and yes i am one of them…. not to say i’m expecting his legendary performances of his early arsenal years. we have to remember his age and his time at new york bulls with no disrespect american football is completely different to european football. not to say im doubting he’ll make an impact cos he will. and hell am i looking forward to seeing him in a arsenal shirt again.ย  though their is a small rumor probably not even a rumor more a whisper. that the new york bulls might rather let him play out the rest of his career at arsenal but as i said that is mere speculation and ive only heard from one sourse. so im gonna ignore it. but this is good. i think????? it is isnt it? i’m just hoping this doesnt stop wenger from signing anyone in janurary. tho henry will be a boost, but its only two months, and though gervinho is doing well but so far not a proven goal scoring forward. and chamakh sorry to say not expecting much from him at the moment. and Park hasnt been given enough chances so still unproven, so just cause henry may return doesnt mean wenger can relax and not bother. cos we need a world class striker. we got lucky in august with arteta whose done well in midfield, oxlaide chamberlain has been excellent, mertesacker is finding his feet and so is santos. bennayoun is also a good player. so lets not forget we need a permanent striker not a quick fix. though this is a quick fix i like the idea of. buts lets not get our eye of the ball and forget that we need a permanent fix.

suffice to say busy days lay ahead news rumors ridiculous speculations and all the rest. are soon to start. with chelsea looking to sign Kaka. would be nice to see kaka in a arsenal shirt but again pretty unlikely. well i shall leave you with some pictures of arsenal training with Henry, which i found on the official arsenal website. thanks for reading…..ImageImageImageImage

Return of a legend

Posted: December 29, 2011 in arsenal

Thierry henry could be returning to arsenal for a short term loan. Would be nice to see him in a arsenal shirt again. As usual rumors are abound with possible transfers. Havent really heard of any new ones so not gonna go on with a list i have already compiled. Well we are days away from the winter transfer window a prospect that i am excited about but i think it will be a busy one. Unlike augusts window where most of the talk was about man u i think it will be a lot about arsenal as their are a lot of eyes on wenger to see if he signs any major players i.e. hazard kaka, gotze, Beckham ha ha Beckham major player thats sooooo funny ๐Ÿ™‚

Man city’s new signing phil dowd

Posted: December 19, 2011 in arsenal

Ah what a game; though got to ponder if the referee phil dowd was in fact brought by man city shirt number 666. Nasri man of the match what the hell???????
It was a exciting game but we just failed to edge our way in. Would have liked to have seen chamberlain play instead of walcott, would be nice to see benayoun and artera play together ๐Ÿ™‚ miquel? Dont understand his inclusion. But all in all its just the way football is. Could have been far worse could have been 2-0 3-0 so i take that into account. Arshavin played like he didnt really care so i think maybe a winter exit. I get he must be stressing over less playing time. But look at chamakh, in same position he must know the criticism he’s getting. But he still states he wants to stay at arsenal. And he does still try. The time is almost upon us the high octane thrill ride that is the transfer market opening forget about wall street this is what matters ๐Ÿ™‚

Wenger looks like he could be lining up a stunning ยฃ30million January move for German wunderkind Mario Gotze. that would be a brilliant signing for arsenal a player who could help us move forward, is their a downside to it? nope well for arshavin probably as currently a bit player but with Gotze’s arrival could see arshavin leave, probably a lot or most of the fans wouldnt be too bothered at the prospect of losing Arshavin, im still in two minds though cos arshavin may not score goals but he does some good assists but hey why ponder over it, if he stays he stays if he goes he goes.

Imageas the transfer window looks to open in january their will no doubt be loads of gossip rumours some credible some purely stupid. but what for arsenal? anything new to salivate the fans??????

it appears fernando Torres is still being linked with arsenal,as Chelsea are likely to bid $46 million for Real Madridโ€™s Gonzalo Higuain, it appears real madrid and barcelona are also look at arsenal target Yann M’Villa so they could outbid arsenal for the player, though Wenger is also looking at FC Basel’s Xherdan Shaqiri who was impressive against Manchester United. Tomas Rosicky may be leaving a fact im hoping is just a rumour. though Rosicky is at the moment just a substitute player, as we have Arteta, Song and Ramsey with Arshavin playing a more attacking role these days. but Rosicky always tries when he plays i still rate him as a good arsenal player. Wenger is also looking at 25 year old Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia. and with the african cup coming it appears Park will be getting more chances so am looking forward to seeing more of him.

and wenger makes no sense sometime with ryo possibly being loaned out again to Feynor should keep him hes a good player

me i know nothing of the outside world. all i know is here in feltham, that breakfast comes at 8am, that sour cheese pringles are lovely, that arsenal exist and makes this blogger happy. i know nothing of the outside. i sit here streamed between the computer screen and old white walls that looks like it needs a good few layers of paint. with christmas coming up, my only wish for a christmas present is that arsenal sign neymor or signs some really good players, im not afterย a aston martin Vanquish, or a large mansion in surrey. id settle for a christmas card from prof Wenger ๐Ÿ™‚

bottles of dr pepper line my table, the cold feel of the keyboard as i type, the spring of the mouse as i frantically search through arsenal news like a cat preying on a bird. ready to pounce. i over eagerly hope to overhear the people at work talk about any gossip. i am confided to a cage that is my desire to blog all that is arsenal. also have to put up with a manchester united supporter with his delusion that man u is the best team in the world. ahem knocked out of the carling cup by crystal palace out of the champions league and only number 2 in the league now when i say that im stating that if they where the best team in the world wouldnt they be number 1???? still be in the carling cup and champions league? you see i dont pretend to that arsenal are the best team in the world, to me they are but i have no over zealous believes i know arsenal are a brilliant team, struggling for trophies yes. but to me i dont care….. to be honest manchester united dont exist to me, they are an alien planet far from my solar system. my only worries are if the canteen ever runs out of dr pepper. and this burning uun-related to arsenal question who is the better player messi or neymor?

anyways it is time to shut down, power down the search engines, log off the system and have my own time which normally consists of criminal minds or supernatural, maybe being human.

till next time chao

Imagewhen Per Mertesacker came during the transfer window, it was who? is he any good?

many ponderings whether Mertesacker would improve the arsenal defence… and so months ahead how is he doing? well he had a slow start he took the longest of the players that came in to adapt to the game, though still finding his game; he does improve with every game. Mertesacker stated on the arsenal player that he would like to be judged after the full season rather than being judged now. which is true. i do like him as a player, when he gets into the game he will bring experiance to arsenal. think you have to remember his transfer was short, he didnt have any pre-season games or enough time to gel. and no i am not his agent that im defending him ๐Ÿ™‚ im just hoping he finds his game soon, cos he does look like he will be a good player. much like andre santos, defense wise he doesnt look that good, but midfield he doesnt seem to bad scores goals. i would have to say the most dominant player that came out of the august transfer window has to be Mikel Arteta. the other players are doing well. Park hasnt had enough playing time to gel, Miyaichi is still in reserves and currently injured so cant really see what he’s like but he has potential (and before you point out yes i know he wasnt part of the august incoming players) Gervinho is an excellent player just needs to score more goals ๐Ÿ™‚ Joel Campbell is on loan so will be awhile before we see him in a arsenal shirt. so to end as the january transfer window gets closer. us arsenal fans will be watching closely hoping for some good arrivals.

so who would be your ideal signing? from the current rumours going around?

mine would probably be Eden hazard my realistic ideal signing from the rumours would probable be mario Goetz.

thanks for reading

Imageother rumours

wenger may try offloading arshavin and bendtner for a ยฃ25 million cash and swap for Borussia Dortmund’sย playmaker Mario Gotze, also rumour or gossip regarding real madrid trying to tempt wenger with a player swap van persie for karim benzema, obviously it all depends on van persie, but i would not like to see that happen Benzema is a good player but we all know what can happen when a player comes to the premier league ๐Ÿ™‚ arsenal will also need a defender with jenkinson out and santos out as well. apparently arsenal have been linked with a 18m move for Loic Remy. not much is known though, hey got another funny and blatantly stupid rumour that wenger may be interested in trying to sign Fernando Torres ha i dont see wenger going for it he hasnt exactly performed and to be honest it is such an unrealistic rumour but just had to write it ๐Ÿ™‚ to be honest most of the news is the rumor of a swoop for karim benzema. which is natural i suppose as we have been linked with him for a long time. i think this is arsenals version of the whole fabregas to barcelon saga surprised hollywood havent tried to make a movie about it ๐Ÿ™‚ also been linked with Lukas Podolski.

arsenal and other news

Imagenews is rather slow, possibly missed out on getting yann m’villa would say the most interesting news heard isnt arsenal related it seems that barcelona are looking to ofload striker David Villa both chelsea and liverpool are looking at him; but is it stupid to think that why isnt arsenal going for him? i would say he’d be a good back up for Van Persie or dare i say it replacement if Van Persie did leave? am i mad????????????????????? we have been linked with a few other players but as always nothing but rumours, i dont know david villa to arsenal? is that a realistic option? probably not dont suppose wenger would spend that much on one player cos doubt barcelona would sell him for the cheap. shame they weren’t trying to ofload at the same time as they wanted Fabregas could have gotten a good deal ๐Ÿ™‚ a good game against everton cept it is crazy should have been at least 2 or 3 nill to us.with christmas coming. and the transfer window soon to be open… ah hectic few months at work and on here, as i will be on blog overdrive ๐Ÿ™‚ well this is another small blog entry coming to a close. hopefully work will become less busy so i can go back to normal blogging duties ๐Ÿ™‚

i shall end with a gunner for life battle cry ๐Ÿ™‚
